A Journey Of Faith (HAJ)

Haj — the fifth pillar of Islam — is a religious journey to the House of Allah in Makkah. This is in response to the call of Prophet Abraham when Allah commanded him to call mankind to perform Haj. Haj is the largest gathering of Muslims as about three million Muslims from all over the world meet to worship their Lord. All barriers including language, color, class and race are broken.

History Of Eid-Ul-Adha

Eid is a festival of Muslims that is celebrated all over the world. Eid-ul-Adha is also known as the festival of sacrifice and sacrifice feast.

Eid-ul-Adha is celebrated on the tenth day of Dhuj Hijja, the Islamic month according to the lunar Islamic calendar. Eid- ul- Adha accurs approximately seventy days after the end of Ramadan month.

Large area still inundated in Sindh, SC told

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court was informed on Thursday that floodwater was still standing on a large area of Sindh because the government had removed only 30 per cent of thousands of unauthorised embankments from the bed of Indus River.

Don’t cross Haj security red line: Al-Qahtani

JEDDAH: Security agencies in the Kingdom would not allow anybody to tamper with the security and safety of pilgrims who have come for Haj, said Lt. Gen. Saeed bin Abdullah Al-Qahtani, director general of public security.

“Pilgrim security is a red line that cannot be crossed,” the general said, adding that nobody should dare obstruct pilgrims from performing their religious rites peacefully and comfortably.
