Intel Announces Winners at the National Science Fair

Intel Pakistan marked the end of its national science competition by announcing the winners of the Intel National Science Fair, who will go on to represent Pakistan at the Intel International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF) 2012, to be held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA.

The grand winners of the Intel National Science Fair are; ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Shiza Ghulab, Mahnoor Hassan and Bushra Shahed from Institute of Computer and Management Sciences, Peshawar. The individual winners are; Musa Rahim Khan from Agha Khan Higher Secondary School, Chitral and Syed Shahzeb Hussain from Army Public School and College, Command and Staff College, Quetta.

Banana cake with a Nutella twist

I love bananas and I love Nutella, and combining the two leads to sheer magic. While it is very difficult to imagine improving on Nutella, when you combine it with fresh cream, butter, and icing sugar, and then spread this frosting atop a moist cake chock full of bananas and walnuts, the blend of flavours is simply mouth-watering.

For UAE National Day on December 2, I was invited to a barbeque hosted by a friend. I knew I wanted to bake a cake for the occasion but couldn’t decide which kind until I opened the freezer to find a handful of frozen brown bananas just waiting to be baked to perfection.

PTCL to Invest Rs. 100 Billion in Next Five Years

PTCL will invest Rs. 100 billion in Pakistan in next five years, said Mr. Walid Irshaid in an interview with Business Recorder. He said that source of funding can be debt to equity combination, while the investment will be focused on variety of areas with in the company including expansion.

Mr. Irshaid said that PTCL was a state run monopoly telephone company before privatization, while new management is trying to transit the organization to make it become “The Telecom company of Pakistan” with integrated solutions.
